Short stories for reading, speaking, and writing practice


SUPPLEMENTARY INTRUCTIONAL MATERIAL

This supplementary instructional material is intended for students of Vietnamese Cultural Conversation and Composition (VIET 214) to enhance their Vietnamese reading, speaking, and writing skills. Students’ Vietnamese language proficiency is expected to be at the intermediate level to use the material. The material consists of ten chapters. Each chapter includes a short story and practice tasks on word study, sentence construction, discussion, and writing. The short stories were written by well-known Vietnamese authors of the 20^th and 21th centuries.
